The External Mixing Counterflow Plant ensures an effective production of a homogeneous asphalt batch. The drying process is extremely efficient because the dryer-drum has an exclusive function of drying the aggregates so that the residual humidity does not reach the mixer, which would oxidize the asphalt. The PAC is not exposed to high temperatures, making it so that the asphalt batch will last longer and have a higher quality.
