EVENT
ADVANCED MINING TECHNOLOGIES FROM THE WIRTGEN GROUP
HOTEL SANTO DOMINGO, SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
OCTOBER 20th, 2011

Resansil together with the Mining and Petroleum Chamber of Dominican Republic organized a technical presentation about mining called “Advanced Mining Technologies from the Wirtgen Group”. The focus of the event was the presentation of the mining division of the Wirtgen Group which brings together technologies created by surface mining of Wirtgen GmbH and stone crushing with mobile equipment including highlighting the increasing use of recycled materials using impactors Kleemann.

The event was decided to take place in Dominican Republic because throughout Latin America has been the country that has been developing the mining area for 12 years with great success. RESANSIL has been a leader in introducing this technology in Latin America.

The event took place at the Hotel Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and had the participation of important constructors dedicated to mining and members of the Mining and Petroleum Chamber of Dominican Republic.

The presenters were Luiz Zoch by Kleemann and Jose Luis Matallana who presented the technology of surface mining.

Nowadays, in Dominican Republic, are working a large number of high technology machinery in a variety of nationally relevant construction sites and projects. The machinery from the Wirtgen Group, represented by Resansil in Central America, Caribbean and Venezuela, offers surface miners and mobile impact crushers among others, especially designed for low energy consumption and high efficiency which represent key assets in the mining industry.

Resansil takes this opportunity to thank the Mining and Petroleum Chamber of Dominican Republic for providing Resansil the opportunity to present the machines from Wirtgen Group to many of its members.

As a result of the event many questions were clarified and thus new projects born using these two technologies.
