FORUM OF SURFACE MINING, CRUSHING AND GRANULAR BASE PAVING TECHNOLOGIES
RESANSIL organized in Casa de Campo, La Romana, Dominican Republic the first Forum of Surface Mining, Crushing and Granular Base Paving Technologies, which took place during August 4th and 5th, 2011.
This first Surface Mining Forum focused on cutting-edge technological presentations by international specialist in their field with the objective to share their expertise in the highway development throughout the world.
RESANSIL had the honor to have as participants of the event the most important construction companies of Dominican Republic such as Contructora Polanco S.A. and Contructora Risek among others. Also Odebrecht, which is the company in charge of the project AUTOVIA DEL CORAL, participated in the event.
As part of the event, there was also a visit to AUTOVIA DEL CORAL in order to watch firsthand the machines working on-site. AUTOVIA DEL CORAL is considered the most important infrastructure work for the hotel and tourism industry of Dominican Republic, as it will facilitate and therefore complement both touristic poles in the east of the island, and it would make possible to lessen the travel time by 50% between the city of Santo Domingo to the International Punta Cana airport in less of two hours.
RESANSIL proudly participates in the construction of AUTOVIA DEL CORAL with machines from the WIRTGEN GROUP such as: KLEEMANN MR 130Z, WIRTGEN 2200 SM, VOEGELE 1900-2, HAMM HD 0 90V.
