The hot recycling method is used to repair bituminous bound surface courses by replastifying the pavement and admixing binders and additional mixing material. This method permits on-site restoration of the service properties of the pavement while making complete reuse of the existing road materials. |
The recycled, processed material is placed directly true to grade and slope and precompacted by the integrated tamping and vibrating screed.
The addition of binder and virgin asphalt material is precisely metered so that the quality of the surface courses to be rehabilitated can be improved. |
