CONCRETE PAVEMENT PAVING

The technology of the WIRTGEN Tracked Concrete Pavers (WIRTGEN Group) allows them to perform all the work of distributing, paving and compacting the new pavement at their own pace.
Fast placement and perfect finishes are the main characteristics of the concrete side formwork works performed by the specialized WIRTGEN equipment (WIRTGEN Group). Get to know them here!

CONCRETE PAVING

In the WIRTGEN Tracked Slipform PaversThe concrete is placed directly in front of the machine and distributed by means of a spreading auger or a spreader bar. Vibrators compact the concrete homogeneously and the slipform forms the concrete to the defined width and thickness during the advance movement. Dowel bar inserters and anchor inserters position the dowel bars and anchors according to specifications.

The transverse smoothing screed removes the surface crosswise to the roadway and the longitudinal smoother creates the perfect surface. When paving concrete in two layers, the top and bottom layers are treated synchronously and paved wet-on-wet.

Model Extending Width (mm)

SP 64 2000 a 7500
SP 94 3500 a 9500

In the WIRTGEN Side Slipform PaversThe concrete is transported to the slipform by means of a loading conveyor or an auger. The side formwork can be mounted on the right or left side of the machine.

High quality machine control, practical steering and drive system, concrete paving without guide wire are features of this equipment.

For the construction of roadways, concrete can be fed laterally with the aid of a WIRTGEN Side Feeder (Placer/Spreader). Paving width from 4000 to 7500 mm.

The texturing and curing units give the concrete pavement the desired surface structure and spray a dispersion to prevent the surface and edges from drying out prematurely.
