WIRTGEN SURFACE MINER
Wirtgen Surface Miners (Wirtgen Group) are capable of cutting, crushing and loading rock in a single work step.
They are designed for heavy-duty operation in open-pit mines. They obtain raw materials such as coal, gypsum, phosphate, bauxite or limestone with a monoaxial compressive strength of up to 80 Mpa in high purity and with a maximum exploitation rate of the deposits.
The extracted and crushed material is delivered in a size that can be processed cost-effectively, requiring minimal further treatment, and can be deposited behind the machine, discharged laterally via an integrated discharge conveyor or loaded directly. Robust surface miners Wirtgen can work 24/7 in confined spaces, quarries or large open-pit mines.

Cross Application Miners are easily mobile and highly versatile in terms of application. They are used not only in mining, but also in conventional construction work in infrastructure construction.
Cutting drums are available for hard or soft rock. As a rule, the milled material is loaded directly onto construction trucks suitable for conventional traffic by means of an integrated discharge conveyor.
