New gripping for old roads
The process is a modified form of cold milling, the only difference is that the cutting tools are spaced nearer the milling drum. The technique is called cold milling when the line space diminishes to 8 mm or less.
The goal is to produce a new defined surface texture. Although the fine milling drums are not able to repair any damage deeply rooted in the road structure, they may create an anti-slip leveled surface.
Only just one step is needed; additional steps such as paving a new surface course are usually unnecessary.
